Michelle and Gary chose one of the most beautiful courthouses in California for their elopement, the Santa Barbara Courthouse, and it could not have been a more perfect day. With just their closest friends and family present, the entire experience felt intimate, relaxed, and deeply personal from start to finish.

Their ceremony took place in the courthouse gardens, surrounded by lush greenery and warm light that made everything feel calm and natural. After exchanging private vows, we took time to wander through the historic spaces inside the courthouse, from the mosaic tile staircase to the intricate courtrooms, each corner offering something unique and full of character.

This day was a reminder that elopements don’t need much to feel meaningful. Just the right place, the right people, and a moment to slow down and take it all in.
