Lisa and Erwin's engagement session at Pasadena City Hall holds a specific place for me. Pasadena City Hall is genuinely one of the most beautiful locations for engagement photos in the greater Los Angeles area. The Beaux-Arts architecture, the courtyard, the arched corridors — it all photographs in a way that feels timeless without being stiff. We had soft, even light for most of the session, and Lisa and Erwin were completely relaxed the whole time, which made everything easy.

Pasadena City Hall Engagement Photos in Los Angeles
Pasadena City Hall is one of the most architecturally stunning locations for engagement photos in the Los Angeles area. Built in the 1920s in a Beaux-Arts style, it features a dramatic rotunda, arched colonnades, a central courtyard, and detailed stonework that creates a variety of distinct shooting environments all within a compact space.
Sessions here work well throughout the day, though midday can be harsh in summer. Overcast days and late afternoon light both produce excellent results, with the archways providing natural shade and the courtyard offering open, even light. There's no permit required for personal photography, making it one of the most accessible high-impact locations in the city.
